Watching clips of the annual gathering of English Nationalists at Battle Abbey shows clearly that a decline in English Nationalism started some years ago, well before the problems faced by Steadfast Trust. The ‘exposure’ of Steadfast Trust was most likely used to finish off a decaying movement, though such a movement was perhaps never really united in its purpose. Here I would like to give some ideas as to what can be done to revive a new and virile English Movement through learning from the past and its mistakes. Please note, these are my personal ideas.
Any movement that concentrates itself upon the negative rather than the positive is hardly likely to gain the ground that it should. What ground was gained was perhaps due (in part) to the devolution plans for other nations of Britain. One of the main areas that was focussed upon was the Battle of Hastings where the English lost the battle, and indeed the war, against the Normans (and the money-lenders and Roman Church that aided the invasion [*]). Hence, a negative approach was made, mourning the loss of our English Nation.
From the beginning would it not have been better to concentrate upon the founding of the English Nation which we could say was started in earnest by Hengest and Horsa who led the English Tribes over here to aid their Germanic Kinfolk here and to most likely to curbe the power of the growing Christian Church here in these lands. In order to understand that Hengest and Horsa were indeed the founders of the English Nation, if not in name but in its blueprint, we need to understand what we call Archetypal Myth. Hengest and Horsa represent the Divine Horse Twins whose role is that of the founding of a new Nation, clearly seen in their counterparts Romulus and Remus. The latter were also Divine Horse Twins so this is a valid example, indeed, one twin is slain whilst the other conquers, just as Horsa is slain whilst Hengest goes on to conquer.
But we have another example amongst the West Saxons – Cerdic and Cynric – both leaders of war-bands that pushed the conquest of this land after Hengest and Horsa. Just having these two examples recorded shows how important this Archetypal Myth really was. Strangely enough we have hints of a link between these two through a mythical sword wielded by Hengest and Cynric. We would not find proof of this but we do have growing legends that were later added to their exploits.
I am not suggesting we forget the battles of King Harold, and certainly the Northerners started to celebrate his victory at Stamford Bridge which is fair comment. The honouring of King Harold is certainly valid in regard to his stand against a foreign invasion (in terms of the Normans having a totally different culture, but not in terms of race). King Harold should be honoured alongside Hereward the Wake, Edric the Wild, and the English Resistance Heroes who gave rise to the Legend of Robin Hood. But to harp on this defeat and not to recognise the forces that were behind this defeat (which are the same forces that seek our destruction today) is futile.
Another area which Woden’s Folk took up but which was largely ignored by many in the Movement was the Proto-English Theory [**] which is based upon the theory that Germanic Tribes, and especially the Saxons, were here in these islands before the invasions of Hengest and Horsa. Indeed, there is growing proof (see the Inglinga Blog and its links) that the Saxons were here before the Romans! This theory was not a recent one since I featured it in the early Woden’s Folk magazine which was published before WF was founded in 1998; this makes it 20-odd years ago. Since then growing proof has come out from various sources, even amongst the Establishment.
The importance of this seems to have been overlooked, since if it were to be proven it would invalidate the claims that the English were ‘invaders’ or ‘foreigners’, which is one of the main themes promoted to make multi-culturalism seem a sound argument (which it is not since the early invaders were of the same blood-stock). Indeed, the latest alien invasions (which they are) have been likened to the ‘Anglo-Saxon Invasions’ using the same tactic of lies. It also holds back the advance of our True Religion – Folkish Wodenism – because this is hidden behind a barrage of ‘Celtic’ stuff designed to draw people into this rather than they return to their True Religion.
Another problem is that the Englisc Scene was heavily Christian in the main, with pockets of English Heathenism. What needs to be understood here is that Christ (the Middle-Eastern version) was only accepted because the English already had an Ancestral God who was the ‘Son of the Father’ – Ingwe. Christianity was forced upon our Folk through the conversion first of the rulers, using the carrot, and then the Common Folk, using the whip! Even a cursory glance at the Old English texts shows that they were based upon the Middle-East, even though the English version may have differed in places to suit a Western European land. My argument in completely dropping this outdated Christian Faith is that its archetype was adopted in a dying age (the Age of Pisces) and is not suited to our struggle today. I will explain.
The archetype of Christ is that of a Hanged Man, hanging in dejection, shame, humiliation and defeat on a dead piece of wood (the ‘Cross’). The image is the direct reversal of the true figure who hung upon the Tree of Woe (Iggdrasil or Irminsul) – Odin, who we spell Woden. Woden hung upon a living tree (The Cosmos) in order to gain knowledge and wisdom of the most Ancient Runes, the keys to our consciousness and the Secrets of Nature. Woden screamed and ‘fell’ (facing downwards as ‘The Hanged Man’ of the Tarot?) and thus picked up the Ancient Runes. From these he learned Nine Lays of Power and Eighteen Spells by which he could aid his Folk (he did not die for their ‘sins’, a concept that creates psychic problems in a people).
The new ‘God’ of our people is Ingwe and we have (as prophesied) begun to enter the Age of Ingwe. This is a very ancient power and may well be related to an earlier name of Odin mentioned in the Norse Myths – Igg or Ygg. Having a common Indo-European tradition the Hindus have an early name for Shiva, Rudra, who is also named Ugg, a name which is phonetically similar to Igg but also has the very same meaning – ‘Terrible’. Indeed, this god-force wields a terrible power against the enemies of Gods and Men. [***]
On the subject of Ingwe there are again hints of this as a very ancient name which was actually used in these islands in ancient times, and indeed retained in certain areas deemed ‘Celtic’. I refer to the name AEngus or OEngus [****] which developed into Angus – the roots ANG, ING and ENG stemming from the same source, as does AE and OE. Some versions of this ‘Celtic’ name and his story show that he is clearly the ‘Son’ and he developed into the later ‘Mabon’, a name used for ‘son’ in Welsh. Again, we have hints of a very early Saxon presence not only in England but also in other parts of these islands – Scotland and Ireland [*****].
In ‘Blood of the Isles’ a DNA testing throughout Britain suggested that most of today’s inhabitants were descended from the hunter-gatherers of ancient times, suggesting that the blood of these isles has changed little through the various invasions of peoples with the same blood-stock (which does not apply to the invasions of our time). How far we can go back to these ‘hunter-gatherers’ is debatable, since agriculture in these lands has been pushed back in time through recent research.
Certainly the Anglo-Saxon Tribes (and all the other Germanic Tribes) who came here did so from Northern Germany and Southern Scandinavia, as historians know. But since we can go back in time to around 7,000 to 8,000 BCE when there was a much larger landmass in the North Sea, and again to beyond 10,000 BCE when these islands were part of a much larger continent [******] we can assume (archaeology bears this out) that a tsunami sank part of this landmass from around 7,000 – 8,000 BCE and thus many, many thousands of lives must have been lost, and to those who could foresee this, a migration eastwards into what is now Northern Germany – Southern Scandinavia.
When we look at this in this light the most ancient monuments (one attributed to the ‘Celts’) in these islands were the work of the ‘Giants’ who were tall, fair people who, through the ravages of time and the Cycle of the Ages, have now degenerated into the White People of these islands today. What is not lost to the enemies of our Gods and Folk is that the Blood Memory resides within a Folk until such time as the Sacred Blood is polluted through alien blood – hence the purpose behind today’s invasions. (This is not ‘racist’ since it applies to all races, so we can apply it to ours.) Knowing this we can see the reasons why the English Folk in later times used these ancient sites for their religious purposes, which they would not have done had they not been built by their ancestors. [*******]
The English people may have lost their lands and the ruler-ship of their people through the battle in 1066 and the takeover by the Normans, but their Royal Blood sank down into the Common People of England awaiting its time of rebirth. The sign of this rebirth was the Awakening of the White Dragon which itself is symbolic of the English Folk. True, this awakening waned, but this was merely a battle in an Eternal War – this battle (like the Battle of Hastings) may have been lost, but the Eternal War goes on regardless. The time prophesied for this awakening was around 1985 when indeed the White Dragon was used within Odinism. This is a mere 31 years ago, a blip in time, and this awakening will again take place here in England. What we all need to remember is that the seeds of this awakening were set at this time, and this began to germinate and then to flower, casting new seeds that will soon begin to germinate – the struggle goes on.
What has to be remembered is that the strongest only carry on through the roughest times, and in times of defeat, the weakest fall by the wayside; this is Nature’s Way of segregating the strong from the weak, and thus ensuring a future stronger movement.Woden’s Folk has changed tactics and moved away from the Old Guard which consisted of quarrelling and squabbles, and has centred itself around those who are strong enough to take the knocks. This is all we have done, nothing more sinister. We have seen how the past mistakes (particularly within British Nationalism) were never learned, and have stuck to a Religious Movement rather than involving ourselves in the power-struggles of politics. The strongest movements in the world today are religious (Zionism-Judaism-Islam) so we must recognise the power inherent in a Religious Movement, a power that overrides the false concepts of class and left-right which have been used to trick our people.
There are subtle signs of change, one of which is the possibility that Britain will leave the European Union; this may cause problems for the Old Order, though (of course) we cannot dismiss the idea that they have control of both sides, and could use the outcome (either way) to their advantage. Alone, the feeling against being in the EU seems to have been widespread from the very start, which shows a grass-roots rebellion even if it has been used to the advantage of The System. This should give us hope, but only for those who have taken the trouble to prepare rather than being ‘Armchair Internet Activists’ – this will again sort the wheat from the chaff.
[*] The ‘civic nationalist’ ignore this part of history in order not to be seen as ‘racist’, a common slur used against anyone who exposes the money-lenders – the Global Bankers of today. They also ignore the role of the Roman Church in crushing the people of England through taking lands and taxes.
[**] Proto-English Theory – I have used this modern term so as to convey a meaning suited to our modern times.
[***] The Joten or Eoten who were the enemies of both the Saxons and Vikings because of their growing power behind the Christian Church. Not many can see what is behind what occurs in history, nor its relationship with Myth.
[****] The name AEngus or OEngus, and thus Angus, appears to have originated amongst the Picts, a people who are virtually unknown to historians, and whose history has faded into legend, suggesting very ancient times.
[*****] In my Inglinga Blog (Blogger) I have featured a tribe first noticed by my good friend and comrade Hamasson, a tribe that dwelt in a large area of North Wales. This is not the place to go fully into this since it can be found on the Inglinga Blog, but it is worth having a very quick look. This tribe was known to the Welsh as the Tekeingl (this can be verified online, even down to a ‘flag’) but to the Romans as the Deceangli. Now, the only people known to the Roman’s as ‘Angli’ are the ENGLISH. Indeed, the Welsh term Teke-Ingl actually means ‘Fair Ingl’ which is a name suited to the Saxons who must have stood out in the darker peoples of North Wales. Indeed, it is quite possible that these peoples gave their name to Anglesey (Angle’s Island). Indeed, this is not all, since a survey some 20-odd years ago in the region of the Conway Valley (the area of the Tekeingl) showed a marked number of Blood Group A – a Scandinavian Blood Group as opposed to the Blood Group O which is predominant. This is not all, since some sources tell us that the Tekeingl were part of a migration from Ireland around 500 BCE – yes 500 BCE! Another valuable piece of information is that the Romans crushed the ‘Celtic’ resistance in Anglesey, this ‘Celtic’ resistance being that of the Tekeingl, and it was at this time that the ‘Celtic’ Druid resistance was crushed at its source in Angelsey. We do find the term ‘Druid’ in Norse Mythology, a term for the Wise Men of the Northlands.
[******] At-al-land which features as Atland in the Northlands and Atlantis where the Germanic Tribes moved southwards after the Great Catastrophe. The name means ‘Racial Homelands’, stemming directly from the Edel or Odal Rune, the Rune of Blood and Soil.
[*******] In another post on the Inglinga Blog I have shown how Silbury Hill may have been used by the Saxons as a Germanic Thing-Stead which suggests that they recognised what it was from ancient times since they would have used it for this purpose only if they knew that their ancestors built it. Recent archaeological finds have also suggested that it had some kind of wooden structure on the top in Anglo-Saxon times, and with the name Sele in Seleburgh meaning ‘hall’ but most likely originally related to selig meaning ‘holy’ or ‘blessed’ seeming to verify this. The wooden posts suggest an open-air Thing-Stead, used from ancient times as such. (The idea that it stems from ‘King Sil’, a ‘Celtic King’ is rather strange in view of the original Saxon name, the only name recorded for this ancient hill. But…even the word Sil has the very same roots as sol, sal, selig which also relates to the Sigel-Rune and to the Sun.)
